Setting up App Connect for Odoo

This integration is only available in App Connect 2.0. Make sure you have the latest version installed before getting started.
Odoo is a suite of open-source business applications covering CRM, sales, project management, manufacturing, inventory, accounting, and more. Its modular design lets companies run their entire operation from a single platform.
Captivo Labs connects your RingCentral account to your Odoo instance. When a call comes in or goes out, App Connect automatically surfaces the matching Odoo contact and logs the activity against the correct record — no manual entry required.
As a third-party integration, the Odoo integration comes at an additional cost
What it does
- Surfaces the matching Odoo contact when a call comes in or goes out
- Automatically logs call activities against the correct Odoo record, including duration and notes
- Lets you add call notes from directly within the RingCentral dialer
- Supports outbound click-to-dial from Odoo
Install the extension
If you have not already done so, begin by installing App Connect from the Chrome Web Store.
Setup the extension
Once the extension has been installed, follow these steps to configure it for Odoo.

Log in to your Odoo instance.

While visiting an Odoo page, click the quick access button to bring the App Connect dialer to the foreground.

Log in with your RingCentral account if prompted.

Navigate to the Settings screen in App Connect and find the option labeled "Odoo."

Click the "Connect" button.

A window will open prompting you to enter your Odoo credentials. Log in to Odoo.
When you log in successfully, the extension will automatically update to show that you are connected to Odoo. If you are connected, the button next to Odoo will say "Logout."
